LADZ caravans a company based in Mysore Karnataka would like to introduce Travel Trailers / Caravans for the first time in Karnataka. These Travel trailers are custom made and imported As-Is from USA in collaboration with a well-known household name in USA among caravan enthusiasts sold under the logo of JAYCO.
As an introduction LADZ Caravans has launched a 20 foot travel trailer good enough to comfortably accommodate five people. It has a Dining area which converts into a queen size bed to sleep 2, a sofa-cum bed to sleep 1 person and 2 bunk beds to sleep the additional 2. It is also equipped with an independent AC unit, a refrigerator, a 2 burner cooking range with an exhaust over the range, a microwave, a full bathtub with hot and cold water supply, a chemical toilet and plenty of storage cabinets and cupboards all over. On the outside the Travel trailer also has a 10 foot awning to enjoy the outside camping and barbeque experience while parked somewhere
The trailer can be towed with any SUV in the Indian market with a rating of 1500cc or more like a Mahindra Scorpio, bolero, Toyota Innova etc. There are special Air-Ride attachments as a part of the towing package which goes in between the Travel Trailer and the towing SUV to cater to the Indian road conditions. The available model is priced at RS. 31 lakhs and once the stock on hand is sold further orders would have a wait time of 45-60 days for delivery.
The concept of Caravan tourism has gained immense popularity across the globe owing to the freedom and flexibility it provides, while holidaying vis-a-vis itineraries and accommodation. Caravans are a unique tourism product, which promotes family oriented tours even in circuits/destinations, which do not have adequate hotel accommodations. These specially built vehicles being used for the purpose of travel, leisure and accommodation are termed as ‘Caravan’.
