Santosa Yoga school is a yoga center created at Trivandrum with the purpose of bringing santosa or “contentment” to all through yoga.Kerala is the greenest part of India and much so is Varkala as the south west monsoon starts here. The Yoga shala is nestled in between coconut and banana plantations. Varkala is characterised by wide, clean roads and friendly people who always welcome you. Accommodation is closer to the yogashala and the ocean is 3 min walking from the accommodation.
The yoga center includes a guest house with private or shared rooms, each with its own private bathroom. Students and teachers will enjoy the clean, simple environment in which to relax and practice yoga. Three vegetarian meals are provided each day, as well as tea and filtered water for drinking.
Classes are held in the yoga shala, situated on a rooftop with stunning views of the sea and cool breezes. Perfect for asana and philosophy classes, workshops and retreats. There are yoga mats available, as well as assorted props. Class size is kept small so you can expect individualised attention from instructors.
