An entry level position in the galley department on board a cruise ship, the duties and responsibilities include:
• Prepare mis-en-place of the assigned section in the galley.
• Clean all work surfaces and equipment in assigned section as per company policies.
• Carry stores from storerooms to galley
• Assist the Asst. Cook & 3rd Cook in the preparation and plating of food as per the Corporate menu cycle
• Follow instructions of superiors and work as assigned.

Eligibility: Minimum SSC (10th grade) from a recognized board of education with a Diploma/Degree in Hotel management and a minimum 1 year experience in the food production department of 3 to 5* hotels or fine dine restaurants. Good knowledge of basic continental food preparation techniques is essential.
A good command over written and spoken English is a pre requisite. Hardworking and ability to work long hours in a multi cultural environment are a must.
