PCMobile is a newly developed technology stack that enables users to send automated and organized messages (SMS or Email) from a PC using a GSM modem. One of the products developed using the PCMobile technology stack is the School Communication Manager.
School Communication Manager covers all aspects of communication required in an educational institution through SMS and email. The system has extensive facility for sending Mail Merge messages and automatically replying to incoming messages. The SMS and Email based functionalities are given below.
• School fee intimation, multi-level follow-up and reminders
• Answering of fee break-up queries from parents
• Invitations to meetings, confirmation of participation
• Invitation follow up / event reminder
• Holiday intimation – both out bound and auto reply messages
• Assignment and Homework messages
• Exam time table – scheduled and reply to request message
• Progress card– scheduled and reply to request message
• Student specific messages
• Leave request from parents with delayed confirmation to avoid fraudulent transactions
• Sending of messages can be scheduled to start at a specified time
• Sending information to one teacher or to all teachers intimating them on events / specific instructions etc.
• The copy of the message that is sent to the students / parents can also be set to be sent to the respective class teacher
• Parents and students can retrieve specific information by sending keywords – fee details, exam time table, progress card, event details, bus timings and attendance report
• Teachers can retrieve specific information by sending keywords – teacher specific timetable, teacher specific student mark list and bus timings
• Emergency notification to more than one number
• Suggestions / questions posted by the parents and answers
